We are a passionate committee of eight local volunteers, all working together with one shared goal: to save The St Dunstan Inn and secure its future as a community-owned pub.
We come from a variety of backgrounds and bring with us a wide range of skills, experience, and qualities — from business, finance, and hospitality to marketing, project management, and community engagement. What unites us is a deep-rooted commitment to Langley, its people, and its future.
We are working entirely on a voluntary basis because we believe The Dunstan is more than just a pub. It’s a vital part of our village’s heart and heritage — a place for connection, conversation, and community spirit.
We are determined and ready to make this happen. With the support of people like you, we can bring The Dunstan into community ownership and ensure it continues to serve Langley for generations to come.
Here are the people behind the campaign to save The St. Dunstan Inn:
· Caroline Leaver (Chair)
· Neil Pearce (Treasurer)
· Andrea Wright (Secretary)
· Councillor Chris O'Leary
· Rebecca Wynn
· Rob Aimson
· Nigel Kirkup
· Alison Archer
Each member of our committee brings unique strengths, but we are united by a shared commitment to protecting this important part of Langley’s history and future. We are proud to serve the community and excited to take the next steps forward together.
We know how important trust is when it comes to sharing your details and supporting a community project like this. That’s why we want to be clear and open about how we’re handling things.
We’ve been working closely with the Plunkett Foundation — who are experts in helping communities save and run their local pubs — to make sure we’ve got all the right legal and governance processes in place. This means everything we do is being carefully checked and done properly, giving you peace of mind that your support is in safe hands.
